Confirmation form - details of items in executor account

Hello apologies if this has been asked before. We are completing the C1 form at present. We had listed items such as refund from council tax, money from Dept of Work and pensions etc as separate items on the inventory, However the money from these things have been paid into an executor account we set up for this purpose. We think we will need to list the executor account so we get a certificate of confirmation for it? We thought we should perhaps list the items in the executor account on a second page for transparency- so we have declared each item in the account. Ot is that not necessary as the money has been paid to the estate and is in a bank account? The executor account is with RBS, the same bank which has my Dad’s main account. But we think we need a certificate for both accounts or will they release the funds from both with just one certificate? Sorry if this isn’t very clear - it is all so complicated to navigate! Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks

Any refunds as a result of overpayment by the deceased rightly should be listed in the inventory, whether they have been repaid or are still outstanding.
But, you should separately have access to the executors account. Only your father’s account should be listed in the C1.
There is possibly other general helpful advice in the MSE Grant of Confirmation thread, on completing C1.
