Morning all, we had a lovely weekend with DGS and we watched lots of films, then Dad came over for lunch yesterday too so I was shattered last night even though Mr Fix It had been helping me to do all the cooking.
Today I want to sort out the fridge as the messy elf has been in there, then strip the last of the meat from the roast chicken and later put the bins out. What an exciting day lies ahead ! Add to that it's dry, so that's a bonus.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Morning all, rain clearing away, bit of blue sky now but windy!Snoozer glad Steve is on the mend. I'm with you on the pjs, I think it stems from my DM insisting we always got dressed before coming downstairsHalf term here this week, DGS will be back from his weekend away today. Photos sent of them at Brimham Rocks yesterday, familiar to you I'm sure TA.Leftover curry tonight so nice and quick. I'm still sorting stuff out but tomorrow I'm going to visit my old neighbour before she has an operation. Bit of a trek on the bus, only been once before so I hope I don't get lost!On Wednesday I'm meeting oldest friend for lunch. We happened to bump into them on Saturday after the match, DS2 spotted her so we had a quick 5 minutes, although we'd already arranged the lunch.I realised I hadn't even read through the weekends posts until this morning and now I can't remember who said what really so I'll just wish you a happy day, but hope dp1s little 1 is sorted soon x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Evening
Late Posting from me, quite a hectic day although I don’t seem to have accomplished anything. Dog walked this morning and went with a friend but ended up going a different route, she had wellies, I just had trail shoes which are gortex. Little did I know that part of the road was flooded, so I ended up nearly face down after slipping all over in the mud.Yesterday was hard with Ds2, he was argumentative and everything was my fault apparently, don’t think he has slept that well but he has to realise this has had an impact on my life too, so he got told. I think once he where he needs to be to start sowing the seeds of independence to him.Tea was Chilli and Rice.
i also may have a date on Wednesday, yet to confirm.DP1 hope dgd is soon home, your poor daughter, she must be exhausted.
Hugs to anyone that needs one. Take care.8
