Best way to end an auction and stop it relisting if unsold

I have a couple of items that have not sold and eBay has automatically relisted them.
As there are no bids is it fine to just cancel the auction? I will then revise the listing and put it back on when there is a reduced fees offer.
Have I missed a setting to stop auctions automatically relisting?

just do as you say. i am pretty sure all ebay auctions relist automatically now, but someone more experienced than me will confirm.

I still have the choice when listing something as an auction to remove the auto re listing , but I know it all depends on the eBay selling page that you have on your account. When I list there’s a box down amongst the start immediately, buy it now etc features which says relist automatically. I notice if I relist from my phone app that’s always set to yes, not if I don’t from desktop1
