TSB Switch - What constitutes an active Direct debit?

Hi guys,
Great forum and very helpful members.
Just curious as to what constitutes an Active direct debit regarding the TSB Switch?
I have already switched and set up two new direct debits for c.card payments but no payments have gone out as of yet. Not sure they will pay the money on this bases, perhaps.
They show under 'New and inactive Direct debits' in app.
Quite a long wait on this one and they haven't been the best so far. If they dont pay I will just close. Customer service is very bad and difficult to get an answer.
Thanks,
Jay

Did you set up the direct debits after you switched to TSB? If so, you won't get the switch bonus.
The direct debits are supposed to be active on the old account you switched over in order to get the bonus.0 -

OK, well if that's the case, then they should be active by the 15th March if you have set them up correctly.0

Not a very good switch deal on the whole and certainly not clear. Lots of hoops.0 -
