TSB debit card rewards

I have a number of legacy classic plus accounts that I can convert to Spend and Save. Thus allowing me to use debit card for the £5 reward.
Can I convert multiple accounts and collect multiple rewards. Alternately do I have to space the conversions every 6 months so that only one debit card reward is payable.
I am presently being paid double reward for the current switch until June.

You can have multiple TSB spend & save accounts simultaneously and earn the reward from each so could upgrade them all en masse if you wished, you don't need to space the conversions out.

Having said that how many classic plus accounts do you have? I imagine they could get irritated if you upgraded too many at once and started making 20 debit card transactions from each.
  • I have 5 old Classic plus accounts and Ms Descrabled also has 5. We would probably only convert over the next 2 years so that we are able to handle the use of the debit cards.
Ms Descrabled bought 5 items in Tesco (2 onions, 2 carrots, and a parsnip) with the same debit card 5 times. She was checked by a Tesco worker, who seemed surprised that the items were all vegetables; would we cheat?

You can change multiple at once, but be careful to not bite off more than you can chew. I limit myself to 2 Spend & Saves at a time, automating one through Amazon top ups.

Also bear in mind that the first month will start when they change the account over - so it's advisable to do it at the start of the month so you've plenty of time to get the debit card transactions done (not forgetting they don't 'land' until 3-5 days after the transaction itself took place)
