    There's a disability cycling charity near me that does the same, but they just hire a van for the days you need it. For 2000 miles a year that'll be a much cheaper and more environmentally friendly option.

    I was thinking about hiring myself.

    In fact if you are a registered charity you could go direct to the big companies head offices.
    I'm sure most will have charity hire arrangements.

    If you are dead set on buying, again contact the head offices of the importers/manufacturers.
    I'm sure there will be discounts on offer.
