Dependant pension- Civil service pension

Hello all
I posted long time before about this, but civil service pension was asking me overpayments from my late partner although not paid me any benefit since death.
I posted long time before about this, but civil service pension was asking me overpayments from my late partner although not paid me any benefit since death.
Now I was able to dispute that and given me some figures of backdated payments.
Can anyone signpost me on how should the computation come out? Their figure shows higher amount in first 91days after death, then lower after that. Why is that?
Appreciate your ideas.
