I will be travelling to Portugal next week and will be loading my Revolut Debit card with pounds.
Is it better to exchange the pounds in the Revolut app to Euros first or just leave it in there as GBP pounds and let it auto convert?
Thanks

Depends on the charges imposed by Revolut, as they are a money transfer system and not a bank check the small print carefully on any charges imposed for Forex transactions,
Starling Bank is Forex charges free if you want an alternative.

Starling Bank apply a 0.4% fee on conversions between their GBP and EUR accounts. A margin is added on weekends. Use of their debit card involving conversion gives the MasterCard daily exchange rate with no markup or fees.
