Car insurance for drivers with points?

For a number of stupid reasons, I have racked up 9 points on my driving license lately.
I drive a big (expensive) car which I potentially will change, but insurance will be due soon so would like to look at some companies which are relatively reasonable
Thanks in advance

When you informed your current ins company about the points - what did they say ?
It may still be cheaper to remain with them0 -

It may still be cheaper to remain with themI'm awaiting my next 3 and my insurance is due for renewal in a couple of months time so was wondering if there are any companies which take on so called 'riskier' drivers at reasonable prices.

You might be better looking at specialist brokers, but with 9 points nothing is going to be cheap. Insurance costs seem to have roughly doubled for everyone this year without any points.

0-3 and then 3-6 might give you an idea of what to expect 6-9 ( and then some)
It may also depend on the exact offence code and date.
