Packlink being retired

sold an item this morning, it's long thin and light and I put it in a tube 55mm diameter just under a metre long. for light oversized items like that I always use Evri as they are cheap and not fussy about the size, as long as the total "volume" is under 245m3 it's ok
tried to buy a label, apparently the eBay tool now shows all the courier options and theres no need to go to packlink, it does now show other options than just royal mail but if I were to enter the size the only option it gave me was £8 Parcelforce!
clicked on the option to go to packlink which has a notice saying that the legacy tool is still available but will soon be being retired, and I found an option to send using Evri for £2.45
if they don't sort it before the tool is retired looks like I'll have to go back to entering addresses into the evri site directly after each sale..
