Advice sought on how to treat/paint a new garden gate

The bungalows of my neighbour and I are 1.8 meters apart at the front (90 cm each). For the last 20 years that I have been here, the whole gap has been spanned by just one fence panel painted in the Red Cedar Ducksback I think... a strongly reddish colour.
I have just had a new gate fitted on my own side. And the slabs on my front patio have been extended to meet with my back garden (slight gradient). We have re-installed the chopped down fence panel for my neighbour on her side. And a 30cm deep privacy diamond panel is extending all the way across for both of us. (That also gets us back to the previous height of the old panel.)
The chaps have done a most stunning job. I am thrilled to bits with it.
My question is. All my stuff at the back is painted Autumn Gold Ducksback. But I feel the orange hue would not look so good next to my neighbour's red. (I do not want mine red.)
I do love the colour of the new door as it currently is. I feel that this original timber colour does not clash with the red.
Please can you give me suggestions of what I can use to treat/paint the wood to keep that original timber colour (or get close to it).
Here is an example of the colour it has now. I cannot seem to see a Ducksback colour that might achieve this?
Thanks everyone.

something like this will help protect the wood and not significantly change the natural colour1 -
I have used Ronseal Deck oil (neutral) for similer.
I would suggest you let the fence weather ifor a while, otherwise the existing treatment will prevent the new from taking.3 -
Thank you both very much for your replies.
How long would you leave it to weather in? As long as a year?
It is very rough, if that makes any difference to what product is used. (I imagine decks are usually very smooth.)
