I had become really quite stressed and upset but was so relieved when my complaint was upheld and Octopus Energy apologized.

Although I did not ask for financial compensation Octopus Energy also paid £20 into my account.  I was satisfied with the resolution and considered the complaint to be closed.

Out of the blue, earlier this evening, Royal Mail delivered a box of beautiful fresh flowers from Octopus Energy.  The accompanying card apologized for the time taken to get to my complaint.  This was such a surprise and the gestures (£20 credit, Formal apology and now the beautiful flowers) are all very much appreciated.

Thank you Octopus Energy.

They have always had good customer service over the years. Unfortunately, people usually only talk about the bad stuff.
  • People talk about their experiences some good, some bad. It is imperative to speak out when the bad happens not just the good. Talking about good things only, skews public opinion.
