TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “ABBA VOYAGE x Magic Radio” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition- terms.htm which also apply to this Competition.

1. COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

There will be five (5) winners of the “Abba Voyage” competition on Magic Radio.  Entrants must enter with their name, email address and number on the Magic Radio competition page on https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/   Five (5) entrants will be selected by Bauer Media/Magic Radio Show Producers and those entrants will be invited to come to-air on Magic Radio Mid-morning with Nick Snaith Show (weekdays, 10:00-13:00) to try Magics Abba quiz, whereby you must answer 5 correct Abba questions at random, in 50 seconds to win a pair of tickets to the Abba Arena on the 6th April, including travel and accommodation.  Should the contestant unsuccessfully answer the questions or not in the allocated time of 50 seconds, the contestant will subsequently lose the game and the game and prize will be rolled over to another caller, with new questions. The player will only be deemed a winner by the Magic Radio production team during the on-air competition round. The winner will be made aware they have won, when contacted by a member of the production team when the winning entry has been announced on air.     Entries can be submitted between 00:01 on Wednesday 14th February 2024 until 12:59 on Thursday 22ndFebruary 2024 (the competition entry period) and selected entrants must be available to come to air between the 19th  February 2024 – Friday 23rd February 2024 on the ‘The Nick Snaith show’ between 10:00-13:00, or at a time as advised by the Magic Producers. Entries will be short-listed throughout the competition entry period. By participating in this contest, all winners agree to be available and willing to come to-air to play the Abba quiz on Magic Radio. The winner hereby grants Magic Radio the right to broadcast their voice without any compensation. The winner also agrees to provide their availability for the radio appearance as requested by Magic Radio.

 

2.ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS	Entries are restricted to one entry per person. Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes: Online at: https://planetradio.co.uk/magic/competitions/ Online entry is free of charge.
3. DATES	The overall competition dates are: Wednesday  14th February 2024 at 00:01 (Start time) to Thursday 22nd February 2023 at 12:59. (End time) for pre registration   The on air competition will then take place during the following times: 19th  February 2024 – Friday 23rd February 2024 each day on the ‘The Nick Snaith show’ between 10:00-13:00, or at a time as advised by the Magic Producers. Entrants must pre-register online to be in with the opportunity of taking part in the on air competition. Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid. Winner Announcement: The winner’s first name and hometown are available on request by emailing win@bauermedia.co.uk However, if the winner cannot be contacted within 2 days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them, then we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our sole discretion) fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. One entry per person. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. 5. THE PRIZE	Five (5) Winners will each receive any of the following prize: (the “Prize”): Prize package inclusions: 2 x Tickets Abba Voyage performance on the 6th of April at the ABBA Arena. Winners will receive dancebooth tickets to see ABBA Voyage, and entry to the Oceanbird Lounge. Tickets valid only on 6th April at 7.30pm Travel and accommodation included for an overnight stay after the performance organised by Element LTD [W(1] [LS2] [W(3]   2 nights luxury hotel accommodation (4*) in Stratford.

 

* Bauer is not liable for the cancellation of the Abba Voyage performance on April 6th, despite ticket winners. Unforeseen circumstances may lead to event cancellations, and the company is not responsible for associated costs. Ticket winners acknowledge these conditions and understand that Bauer is not accountable for circumstances beyond its control. All prizes will be issued within 28 days of the winner being notified. The Main Prize is provided by ELEMENT LONDON LTD (the “PrizeProvider”) We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.

1. DATA PROTECTION. Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries.

Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. 1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

MISCELLANEOUS.

 

1. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.
2. Entrants may not enter more than once.
3. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.
4. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
5. You are responsible for all costs of entry.
6. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.
7. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.
8. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.
9. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside ourcontrol.
