Best bank for those on benefits.

As others have said, it may be a good idea to open a new bank account and see what it's like before committing to a full switch. I switched my main bank account from NatWest to Nationwide to make use of a switch offer at the time. Though I wish I had stayed with NatWest since I found their app easier to use and the branch in my local area was much better equipped to handle my queries. So regardless of which bank you want to move to, be sure to fully check it out before moving everything there.1

There's no big decision really. You can open a.new account to try to see what you think of the app etc, then switch everything to it or open another to.try.if you don't like it.0

Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank and NatWest are offering £200 right now to switch.1

I don't think it's worth applying for an account which charges a fee/a packaged account on a limited income. More important to look for the kind of services which matter most for your circumstances.

So it is! Unusual for a basic account to be eligible (potentially x3).
