ParkingEye Charge Notice - Maximum Stay

Hi All!
Today I received a parking charge notice from parking eye in relation to a trip I made to my local KFC last week. Long story short, I went to KFC for some dinner with some work colleagues and sat in the restaurant eating and discussing work etc. ParkingEye have stated in the charge letter the duration of my stay was 1hr 13 mins which is over their allowed maximum duration (1 Hour). Do I have any grounds to appeal on?

What did the manager have to say when you went back to the KFC branch and asked him/her to resolve the issue?

KFC often cancel these.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
