Clydesdale/Virgin Money Mortgage App

Looking for abit of advice!

Currently in the process of porting our mortgage and borrowing a little extra for a new house. My question is around the mortgage application process.

We had our DIP meeting yesterday with Clydesdale where we were told they would complete the hard credit search and affordability check. We have passed this and another meeting has been set for next Wednesday with another mortgage advisor to go through what borrowing we need in more detail and complete the full mortgage app. The valuation was instructed also yesterday.

My question is, is that the hard part done and the risk of decline over? We both work in local government, no intention of moving jobs, declared everything etc. Also what time frame could we expect the full mortgage offer? We are based in Scotland, buying in Scotland.
