Child savings funds offered in early 2000s

My god-daughter (estranged from parent) has asked me to research what she believes was a savings/trust fund set up for her in the early 2000s (not the government one) as she is now 23 and would like to take the benefit from such a fund if there is one to help her with Uni studies. She thinks there was some connection with or via Oxfam although this might be a red herring. Has anyone heard of such a thing? I've trawled the internet without any success whatsoever. Any clue would be really appreciated. Thank you.

My adopted son has one as he was in care. It was moved round a bit and is now with the children's Isa. You could try them as they hold a lot of such children's accounts.0

The OP seems to be saying that the query does not relate to CTF/JISA?

As she mentioned Oxfam I thought it might be similar to what was set up for children in care and that it might be worth checking with The Children's Isa or indeed Sharefound who used to administer it. Have you tried the free search on Sharefound's website?xylophone said:It was moved round a bit and is now with the children's Isa. It might show up via a subject access request to HMRC, who'd be informed of income arising from most (but not all) savings accounts:JASu said:My god-daughter (estranged from parent) has asked me to research what she believes was a savings/trust fund set up for her in the early 2000s (not the government one) as she is now 23 and would like to take the benefit from such a fund if there is one to help her with Uni studies.
