Problem I had with Octopus is that it was 50:50 whether you got a smart person or a dumb one. One dumb one incorrectly re-calculated every bill I had ever had with them, then another asked me to take a photo of the meter three years ago. No idea how I was supposed to do that
As a heads up, I was told during a phone call that if you email repeatedly, you are knocked back in the que and the wait starts all over again. So if you send an email, don't receive a reply and then chase up a few days later with another email, you might never actually be answered.
Email has been hit and miss for a long time, some appear to get stuck in system, do not get seen unless customer phones or communicates via a different channel,. person answering then sees email that has been sent.
I usually communicate via twitter message as others have said fantastic service, I sent email reply to Octopus end of tariff email on 2nd have not chased it up - no reply.
Today 14th (must be the love and power) I received reply to email sent on 2nd.
Email I sent with attached screenshots which I hoped might support Q I asked.
Reply - no attempt to answer Q

if you have a twitter acc, message them (octopus) putting your acc no and name address, saves them asking for it, put your query in, they respond back very quick
