Ahhhh Red Ken........... loyal supporter of terrorism worldwide. The sooner that people see him for what he is the better.

No...If I remember correctly he was against the the policies of those loons bush and bliar.

I think we need Boris Johnson to remind us......sigh.

Your knowledge of Red Ken is obviously limited to the last few years. Ken has, through the years, always had a soft spot for an AK47 wielding thug - unless of course said thug is trying his like on Kens home turf.

You show me a politician that's not corrupt, or if you are naive enough to think that there are some noble ones, just pick up an edition of Private Eye. Ken Livingstone is no better than the rest in this regard, but at least he's had the balls to do things like bring in the congestion charge to curtail some of the worst excesses of selfish consumerism a little, when all Gordon Brown can do is talk about banning plastic bags (done years ago in Ireland) with one hand while pushing a new runway on Heathrow with
    the other.

Hasn't this been moved to the Moneysaver's Arms yet?
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
  • I've driven in and out once this week and will do so twice more during the congestion holiday period. Wonderfully clear and speedy. Parking charges are still a bind, however, but parking in the late afternoon is usually possible and gives you a convenient spot for the evening. I'll be back to public transport after 1st Jan as usual, but thanks for the break Ken.
