I would reply to you, but this is not the right forum...so lets agree to disagree.

anyone who believes is an idiot....but then most Londoners are idiots.....

Perhaps we live in London to avoid living with people who hold such nonsensically bigotted opinions (apart from cabbies of course...)

The Congestion Charge was largely a tax imposed on Central and West London (where no one voted for Ken) by those in his East and Sarf London heartlands. Now however many of the intended victims get a 90% discount, and all the Ken voters get to pay full whack. It has at least made the area slightly easier to get around, and nothing at all like the "prison" you suggest. It has displaced some traffic to other less desirable areas, but not all of it. Plenty of small businesses thrive within the zone, others have sadly failed.

People in london earn more, and businesses have more opportunity to make money due to the population. If it's really that bad, why doesn't everyone leave London?!

Do what the rich people with sports cars do and register your car as a taxi so you're exempt.

I love London but the public transport is enough to keep cars off the road. No wonder they have a congestion charge
