Quidco/Raisin Promotion - £60 for saving £5K for 6 months

NOTE : This promotion is only live for today 13 Feb 24.

I'm hoping that someone else has examined this promotion and may be able to confirm my numbers / offer their views.

Saving £5K with Kroo via Raisin @ 4.72% for 6 months (the best EA rate there) yields ~£117.

Saving £5K with Santander @ 5.2 for 6 months yields ~£130.

IF Quidco promo pays out then "extra cash" is 60 - (130 -117) = £47.

Given that these rates are variable, Quidco payout is never a given, hassle of opening new Raisin account, is anyone else tempted?

Raisin doesn't have a 4.72% easy access account with Kroo.

Yes it does but it's not a specific part of the offer - the promotion calls for £5K to be saved in any EA / Fixed Rate account for 6 months, I picked Kroo since it has the (joint) highest EA rate there at the moment.

Bear in mind Kroo is a current account not a savings account so might not be included in the offer.

Not a current account  - Raisin exclusive savings product.

I only chose the Kroo product to compare EA like with like.

Seems I am missing something as I can’t see any promo with £60 🤷🏻‍♂️

I see "£30 Bonus when you opt in and open a new account. Available for the first 1,000 opt ins

+ £25 cashback", but I'm not logged in. It might be be £30+£30 for Prime members.

Me neither! There is (was) a 1000 person signup limit on this offer, maybe now filled.

The offers still extant seem to offer a £30 bonus (maybe) and £25 cashback (maybe) for saving £10K for six months.

I actually applied for this Raisin account yesterday and now it, together with the Kroo account funded with the minimum £1K, are open.

The £30 bonus has tracked at Quidco but its pay-out is, of course, conditional on the cashback conditions being met and tracked. I have no idea if £5K (as seen yesterday) or £10K is the required funding amount and have little faith in either Raisin or Quidco being able to give a definitive answer.

Not going to add 10K, I could add another 4K and see if the thing registers after a couple of days, or I could just bail out.
