What to do with my £35k inheritance

Options
Hi All,
my Dad passed away recently and it seems after we’ve divided things up in the summer after paying off debts etc I’ll be left with about £35k.

im a single 36 year old woman with a 4 year old little girl and want to make our future better. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m open to anything but if I could emigrate to another English speaking Country that would work in our advantage so we can build some roots that would be amazing.

My condolences to you and your family.

Emigrating sounds very interesting, but you often need to have ties there already or to be eligible under a worker visa. It will cost a lot to emigrate and then to get settled - you'll probably find that the £35K doesn't go very far.

You don't tell us much anything your other financial position. For example, income, pension, savings, mortgage, debt etc. These may all influence aspirations and others' suggestions for the inheritance,
