Firestick

Hi all
We have had a firestick for about 3 years.
Last sunday half way through a show, the tv turned it self off, and turned itself on. Kept doing that till we turned off at the plug. So we splashed out on an LG smart tv.
However since then, the firestick and the sky q box intermittently will lose connection to the internet. Sky q wont allow us to stream box set, and my wife does an early morning Les Mills work out on the firestick. Our mobile devices show internet, and although the ont and router arent in a great location we have full fibre to the property.
I suppose I am asking if its the firestick (but then why the sky q box too). I have noticed the LG tv will show a dialog box saying USB device disconnected, then a few seconds later say reconnected - but the only things plugged in are 2 hdmi connections (sky q and firestick). Also top right when we load firestick we have a HDR logo, that wasnt on the Samsung tv - is this just because its showing the firestick in hdr, and the other tv didnt?
Any advice that will stop me being woken up at 5am tomorrow to "sort the tv out" will be greatfully received.

Run the Firestick off the power adaptor it came with from the wall rather than the USB port on the telly

Changing the telly shouldn't have made any difference to the connectivity of these devices, unless the signal needs to pass through it to get to the router, but even then your new telly will probably be lighter and less prone to signal blocking.

I recently got an LG smart tv and sometimes when I switch it on it will say 'no internet connection' or something similar.
If I click the 'home' button (with the house icon) on the tv remote it usually then loads as normal. The button is between the Netflix and Prime Video button on my remote, might be different on yours.

This also works if I switch to watching a dvd player connected to it, and the start up screen shows various options the next time I use it.

Just a suggestion in case it helps you too. (I'm definitely not a techie, ha ha).
