what should i do

hi all
i got a bit of a problem, i sold some posters on ebay to someone in canada on the 28th of april, and didnt get any response from him, so i emailed him teh other day saying that if payment is not sent then i'll have to report him. i got a reply yesterday

"
hey sorry, i have no need for the posters anymore because my distributors got them for me for my store at no cost."

if i report him as a non paying bidder, will he still be able to neg me?
any other ideas that i should do?

 ...... Folk like that really do pi$$ me off.

Start the NPB process to make sure they get a "strike" against their account.

Then Neg their sorry rrrse with a simple factual Neg. Naturally they can leave a retaliatory neg, but that's the downside of being honest and having a clear concience. :)

Had the same problem and I just left 2 nice fat negatives, they bid on 2 expensive items, didn't respond and when they eventually did they lied about eBay telling them not to buy off me!!!

If you are still in time to start the NPB process then start that immediately. Then after 7 days you can complete the process and he gets a strike on his account and you get your final value fees back.

If you don't go through the NPB process then the buyer gets no warning and no comeback for messing you around and you lose your FVFs for good.

i understand your problem ,u dont want to neg them because u will probably get negd in return but if everyone thought like this feedback as a guide to trustworthyness would be useless as nobody would get negd.

I'm a newbie ebay buyer and have been checking out neutral and neg feedbacks and replies from buyers and sellers to see how disputes are resolved. 1 or 2 neg & neutrals left by a buyer wouldn't bother me (I'm bidding small anyway) because some buyers can be totally unreasonable and irrational. But if the seller left tit-for-tat neg and feedback for the buyer or had bad feedback from other sellers I'd feel less than confident that the seller would deal sympathetically if I had a problem with the goods.
