    One reason I chose to invest in a LISA was because taking the money at 60 doesn't trigger the MPAA. 

    When the limit was £4k and I was a basic tax rate payer, I thought it was a good option in case I was still working in my early 60s. Now that the MPAA is £10k it's not as much of a concern.

    I suppose I could have just used my S&S ISA but I find it easier not to mix my retirement savings with non-retirement saving at this point in my life. I intend to use significant amounts of my savings at various times such as house extension, deposit for bigger home and funding children through university. 
    Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!
  • Tembo just released best new ISA rate also, zero fee as well. Used to be get nude company but Tembo is mortgage broker and just bought them
