Are LISA's worth it?
Comments
-
One reason I chose to invest in a LISA was because taking the money at 60 doesn't trigger the MPAA.
When the limit was £4k and I was a basic tax rate payer, I thought it was a good option in case I was still working in my early 60s. Now that the MPAA is £10k it's not as much of a concern.
I suppose I could have just used my S&S ISA but I find it easier not to mix my retirement savings with non-retirement saving at this point in my life. I intend to use significant amounts of my savings at various times such as house extension, deposit for bigger home and funding children through university.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Tembo just released best new ISA rate also, zero fee as well. Used to be get nude company but Tembo is mortgage broker and just bought them1
