Does an administrator ( the deceased died intestate in England) have to disclose the deceased's foreign assets to the beneficiaries? The assets are in India

I expect so. Odd question though - why are you asking?0

I've just come to know that the administrator didn't disclose them. Now we're thinking about what to do0

So what happened to them? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I'm wondering what Indian law says on the subject. That might make a difference to what to do.
What and what value are we talking about?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Also, what sort of asset is it? Real estate will be inherited under the local laws (though should still be declared in the UK).0

If you want a flavour of how complicated this could get, try reading https://www.bizlawuk.co.uk/wills-for-those-living-overseas-with-assets-in-india/samba12 said:I've just come to know that the administrator didn't disclose them. Now we're thinking about what to do
Talking to the administrator is your first step, to find out what they did or didn't know when they took on the role - it's entirely possible they didn't know about the assets and are now struggling with what to do next.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -
The laws of intestacy are different in India and are different for people of different faiths.
