It's not rubbish. Telling people to switch to Tracker because "its much cheaper", with no qualification, is dangerous.

You might know not to blindly follow the advice of random people on the internet, but there’s a whole lot of other people who aren’t you out there too. This is an open forum that anyone can read, and there are plenty of people who know no better than to quite happily believe anything they see posted online.

No one is insinuating that you are one of these people, but you’d be taking a very naive view to suggest that they don’t exist at all. We could all get hung up on the use of the word “dangerous” in this context, but that doesn’t stop the advice of people being told to join tracker without any consideration of their individual needs and circumstances being quite poor in my opinion.

I think you're taking the word a bit too literally. Anyways, I think people now know that someone on the internet saying that Tracker is "much cheaper" should not be taken a face value, so my post has had the desired effect.
