QUESTION: Credit Application Using Partners Details

In our household, I manage / pay for all of my family's phone contracts, internet contract etc.
Recently updated x4 mobile contracts and on attempting a 5th got a failed credit check notification.
My question is this... if I were to apply for this 5th mobile phone contract, using my good ladies details (her name, address, dob) but provided the physical direct debit to be taken from my bank account...
If for whatever reason I missed a payment on this 5th mobile phone contract, who's credit file would be effected?

- Hers, as it was her name the credit check was initially based upon?
- Mine, as it was a missed payment from my named bank account?

It will be her credit file as the account would be in her name.1

Also, whilst you might pay for it you should get her permission at least to use her information for the application.
Ideally though she should apply.0 -
You don't 'manage' the family telcom accounts: they are your accounts, and you presumably allow other members of your family to use the phones.. The bank account that the payments come out of is not relevant: and any missed payment sgo against your credit file, not the user's.No free lunch, and no free laptop
