Bitcoin site https://app.koinly.io/

I had a 1 hour conversation tonight being told how to view my Bitcoin investment which is suggested as being £110,479 via the site https://app.koinly.io/
The contact said I had invested 8 years ago by accumulating bitcoin credits of which I have no recollection.
The site seems to be genuine but the contact is now asking for a further £400 investment by joining bitcoin banks like Coinbase or Revolut. The £400 will then reactivate my, so called, dormant account with Koinly and allow me to withdraw from Koinly back through whichever bitcoin bank I have joined.
Is this yet another new scam?
Has anyone had a similar experience?

This isn't new. Scammers have been claiming they can reunite potential marks with lost/forgotten cryptocurrency held in various places going back years. Of course there will be a small advanced fee that will need to be paid before the funds can be released.Next time save yourself an hour of your time and just hang up on them.4

...or tell them you will go and get Barry - say "just hang on"....And then leave them hanging on the line.Waste their time, not yours.1

Tell them if they pay the £400 - deliver half the £100k to you in used bank notes - then they can have the other half of the £100k as their reward for bringing it to your attention.4

Tell them you are not interested because a Nigerian pince has promised you 1500000000$4

Koinly is a real site for crypto taxes.
However the rest of it is of course, complete nonsense1
