I’ve ordered a document off this website on the basis that I thought it would be quicker than sending a cheque to the Land Registry to get an official copy. Paid my money and it’s been three days and no document. I wondered if anyone has used them before and determined if it’s a genuine supplier of HMLR documents?

Just buy deeds online from gov.uk land registry for £3 and we get them in 5 minutes. I used it many times,no problems.

I doubt the site you mentioned will be legitimate.  Others may have other views ..

Its not the proper Land Registry site.  All they will do is apply online using a business account and send you the documents by post.

Why do you need an official copy?  Title docs are available immediately from the official site.

  • What document are you requesting?
    * Title document? (£3 online - 5 minutes from LR)
    * Official Copy of Title document? (£7 paper copy by post from LR Form OC2
    * other document £7 paper copy by post from LR Form OC2

Thanks for the replies. I was looking for the official copy to get certainty where the boundary is on an unregistered property by getting the neighbours title plan which is registered. This choice of document was based on the register view potentially not exactly reflecting the official copy - am I mistaken here, and would I get exactly the same thing except that I cannot legally rely on it?

You've been duped by a paid advert. This is the proper site...
The site you visited (not repeating the link) will sell you fo £60 something called a "boundary pack"...
    • Official copy register of title (x2)
    • Official copy title plan (x2)
    • Any other documents held which contain relevant plans or references to the boundaries
    • Our e-booklet "The Law on Boundaries"
You can get the title register and title plan online from the real site for £6. You can get official copies by post for £14.

You don'gt need an Official Copy. Just download the neighboiur's Title Plan for £3 from the LR site. I suggest you also download their Title document too in case the wording therein explains anything in the Plan - it's only another £3.
