Fridge Freezer Fridge drain issue

Looking for advice here.
Nearly new built in S/H AO fridge freezer. The wet wall channel in my fridge section keeps filling up. Once full the water obviously floods under the fruit/veg draws.
Twice now I've had to stick a tube down the drain to siphon and sick the water out. Yuck. I really would rather not have to keep doing that twice a week or need to disassemble the unit and remove the fridge freezer to get round the back, spoiling food potentially.
Any thoughts on why water keeps backing up and not evaporating?

The channel probably drains into a small tank to evaporate, but every model of fridge I've owned in the last 15 years has backed up. Amazon sell a feeding tube cleaning brush that is excellent for clearing block drains.0

You shouldn't have to suck water out. As Maisie says the tube goes down to a receptacle on top of the compressor, poke something down the hole that goes all the way, then the water will drain out into the receptacle and evaporate with the heat of the compressor.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I had this issue for ages on my fridge. In the end the solution seemed to be to remove the plastic bit that sat in the drain hole supposedly to keep it clear, but seemed to block it instead. Never had a problem since and added bonus that the fridge is easy to open now, whereas before it took a lot of force as the blocked drain hole created a vacuum once the warm air cooled when you closed the door.0

Could it also be that something is frozen down there? I pushed my PVC siphon tube all the way down, or at least as far as it'll go....
