Two bank accounts hvaing one with no activity affect my history?

Ive got 2 bank accounts one I dont use and just trasnfer cash into very raraely when bank says theyre looking to close it.Would transfering some cash into that bank account help any way, other than just keeping it open?

Why do you want to keep the account open if you don't really use it?But in terms of your credit files, a standard current account has no effect. It's only the use of an overdraft facility that gets reported to the CRAs.1
