pcp missed service with black horse finance

i have stupidly missed the service on my car on a PCP deal with black horse finance. It was due at 44k and car now at 47k. Does anyone have any experience of this and what were the charges for the late service? is it worth getting the service carried out now even though it is late? i would not think it would matter to BH as they would use any way of getting money from you as a breach. i would like to know what i am looking at if anyone else has done this with Black Horse PCP recently

What are the terms of the PCP
Are you looking to buy the car at the end or hand it back/trade in?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I'd just get it done now, I'd be surprised if it was even mentioned but if I doubt they'd be too bothered about it being a few thousand miles late.0

I don't think it's a case of getting money out of you - you've devalued the car by missing the service and if it's still under warranty, it will likely be voided.
If you intend to keep the car or trade it in, it won't affect BH at all, but if you plan on giving it back, you may find a penalty applies - it should be somewhere in the contract. Still worth getting it done now IMO.0 -

A missed service altogether will impact the resale value of the car notably - even should you decide to trade it in or keep it and sell it later - whereas a late service wont so much.
The only reason you should be concerned about a missed service relative to your PCP is if you plan on handing the car back to the finance company at the end of the term. If you're just going to trade it in, or buy it, the finance company wont give a stuff and there would be no penality from them.0 -
It could also void any remaining warranty on the vehicle. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
