virgin navigator

Just had an email from them, who I bank with  saying I can use this service for my pension. It says you can pay in and transfer old pots too. Is this a similar service to pensionbee? Are there others like this to compare with?
I currently have money in standard life and scottish widows.

The Virgin personal pension and stakeholder pension was pretty awful.  They only put them to sleep relatively recently. They left  the new business market for a while, whilst they came up with an in-house robo option.  And that is what the "navigator" pension is.

It's expensive at 0.75%.      Half that is the going rate for DIY options using similar investments.  However, it is priced in line with other robos.     If you can DIY, that would offer you better value or ask an IFA to do it on transactional basis.  You would have an initial fee but IFAs can do better than half that ongoing charge.

Is this a similar service to pensionbee?

Yes. Both are robos and similar cost.

Are there others like this to compare with?
Are you after a robo or a better option?

And what is wrong with them?

I dont think I need a robo. I am happy to manage it myself, I would simply invest most into index global fund and a small percent into bonds.
If I was to invest in an s&s ISA I would probably use freetrade or trading 212.
Do you know what an equivalent platform would be for my pension, where I could choose funds and import the old pots into as well? One without the high charge?

pension provider fees vary. Some are based on a percentage of the pot value - good for smaller pots, whereas some have a fixed fee which is better value for larger pots
