Barnet Hospital Parking Eye

I really hope someone can give me some advice about this. I’ve received a PCN from parking eye at Barnet Hospital. I paid cash when leaving, but the machine didn’t offer a receipt. I tried to take a photo, but by the time I got The phone out of my bag, the acknowledgment on the Parking screen had disappeared. I have to appeal within 14 days. Although I took a photo of the screen, it’s not clear, and I don’t feel I have a leg to stand on, even though I have paid in full. Any advice please would be much welcomed. Thanks very much people!

Plan A is a complaint to PALS and the head of the hospital trust, reminding them of the government mandated NHS parking principles.

Plan B is an appeal using the template in blue text from the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES. You have 28 days from the issue date, not 14.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks2 -
Barnet hospital is part of the Royal Free trust which has a dedicated parking department whose email is rf-tr.parkingrfl@nhs.net. They’ve been quite helpful in the past about cancelling unfair Parkingeye tickets at Barnet Hospital, so I would start with rf-tr.parkingrfl@nhs.net rather than PALS in this case.4

Thanks for your help, I’ll try appealing to the Royal Free Trust before I go any further.
FYI before I saw your message, I had sent an appeal and Parking Eye refuted it on the basis that “ The tariff purchased was insufficient, and did not cover the entire duration of the stay”. That’s rather ridiculous as they have given me. No proof of that and I paid what it said on the machine. They have referred me to Popla, But before I do that, I will appeal to the Royal free trust. Thanks again for your help.0 -
It doesn’t sound like they’ve “refuted” (disproved, with evidence and sound arguments) anything. Did they use that word? If so, maybe it was a typo for “refused”.Either way, the best way to get a Barnet Hospital ticket cancelled is to persuade the Royal Free trust to cancel it2

Someone called troublemaker 22 told me to get in touch with the Royal free hospital. They cancelled the ticket. They also told me that I had underpaid by one penny! I thought that was unlikely but it was very kind of them to cancel the ticket.3

@troublemaker22 is a solicitor who rarely posts here now due to other things taking his time, but complaining to the Hospital is always the answer. Expect the NHS Trust to cancel it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
