Sky have issued me a new router, I have connected Wifi on my laptop and tablet . When I try and get into the wifi on my LG Smart TV the new sky WIfi number appears but the I enter the Sky password which does not accept. What am I doing wrong

Probably you are putting in the admin password for the router? Or have made a mistake putting in the password. 

If the router has 2.4G and 5G then they may well have different passwords. So double check which you are connected to.

Last time I had a new router, I changed the Wi-Fi password to the same as my old one - all  of my connected devices carried on as usual!

Did you use the Sky Password that comes with the router or something different please

I recently had a new router from sky and had no problems connecting it to my 2 LG TVs simply by putting in the routers default password.  Have you used the password to login to other items?  I can only presume you're putting the password in wrong or are trying to connect to someone else's sky router by mistake

I forgot to sign in to the firestick and wondered why it wasn’t working. Operator error 😳

When I got a new router from Virgin I renamed the router to the old router and changed the password to the old password,

All my devices connected to the new router no problem.

Another one for changing the new router details to the previous router same SSID and password, everything
connets as normal, the devices see no change.

Sky password?  perhaps try the wireless key written on router
