I have a Tapo smart socket that I used to control using a raspberry pi and a python script which after updates no longer works.
I had it switch on and off wirelessly depending on temperature rather than using a wired relay in a greenhouse.
Does anyone know of another smart socket that can be controlled by a python script?

Take a look at the SmartAtHome page, someone has written web pages to control lots of different smart devices.
If you don't trust him with your password, there are simple instructions to download the page source and setup your own server locally.
