Any ideas please.
I followed the link to the Harcus Parker who are doing the group claim for PPI and Volkswagen Finance Services are not listed? I am wanting to claim for a Skoda that I had purchased on a PCP contract.
Please advise

Why are you using a third party?

The complaints process is free of charge and the FCA are currently looking at how the firms that had discretionary interest are going to have to deal with it.     In the coming months, we will know more about which firms are affected or not.

So, why use an ambulance chaser when its easy and free?

There is no link to Harcus Parker

If you are desperate to use a template setup use the MSE Resolver website.

This firm is almost certainly hijacking google links and you are potentially signing up to give away 25%+ of your refund

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Honestly I wouldn't hold your breath with Harcus Parker.

I joined the Group Claim in December 2023 based on this sites recommendations. .Upon reading their extensive terms and conditions I wanted to print it off.  I couldn't.  They said they would send an acknowledgement of signing up. .They haven't. . I emailed them very early January about getting a copy of the terms & conditions for the Group PPI Claim.  Their automatic reply was they would respond in 3 days.  They replied 1 month later saying they can't see my claim.  I gave them the exact date and time I signed up ( luckily I screenshot it).  Yet another month later  before they responded that they are now updating their system and don't worry about  my claim it won't be lost ...still not sending out an acknowledgement of me signing up.  Still not sending terms and conditions and they advised they have not doing anything yet with the Group PPI Claim.  Checking their reviews online it seems they do nothing for years.  I have my original documentation...and very glad I didn't send it to them....it feels like a scam of them throwing something on the wall and let's see what sticks.  There were alot of fees in their terms and conditions and this is why I wanted a printed copy.

Honestly don't know why MSE recommended them as they seem utterly shambolic and the Trustpilot reviews says it all.

    MSE doesn't recommend ambulance chasers.

MSE does not recommend any claims firms, if you have seen on their site some endorsement of this firm by MSE, please report it to MSE to take action over as 100% it is fake

  • Just a heads-up for anyone considering joining the PPI group claim with Harcus Parker. A recent ruling from Judge Emma Kelly has heavily criticised their handling of the case, calling their application “underdeveloped” and raising concerns about their lack of proper evaluation of individual claims.

One of the most shocking revelations was that Harcus Parker had not properly vetted claimants, leading to the submission of bogus names like “Darth Vadar” and “Donald Duck” in their data requests. This kind of sloppiness doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in their ability to handle such a major claim effectively.

Damon Parker, a senior partner at the firm, has been vocal about how banks secretly charged huge commissions on PPI policies, calling it “outrageous behaviour.” While that may be true, it’s hard to see how his firm can fight for consumers if they can’t even put together a solid legal argument.

If you're considering joining a PPI claim, it might be worth looking at other options before committing to this firm. Given the judge’s comments, I’d be very cautious.

Has anyone else had any experience with them? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Why would you join a claim about PPI when all the complaints were done and dusted in 2019 and only a few Plevin related complaints might still be knocking around. You should not pay a firm for the free complaints process

MSE has previously recommended using HP for PPI claims as there no other way of pursuing these apart from court https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2023/10/ppi-no-win-no-fee-group-action-launched/

But no one should use them or any other firm for car commission claims as you can do that for free using the MSE tool  https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/reclaim-car-finance/

You don't even need to do that now a section 404 redress scheme is now looking likely.
