See Tickets only selling in bundles

Hi there
Trying to buy gig tickets on See tickets but the only option available is the ticket+CD package. Ticket only isn't being offered - are they able to do this? Surely they clearly have the tickets if they can offer them with CD for a higher price (and I don't need the CDs - I'd potentially keep one but both my husband and I don't need one each just so we can both go to the gig)

What would prevent them from only selling bundles?
Are tickets available from any other sources such as venue box office?0 -
They had previously been selling only tickets (they still show as an option on the ticketing page but state not available.
It is sold out via other ticket providers.0 -
Why would they not be allowed to do this?0

Companies are free to sell things individually or in packages etc just as you are free to decide if you want to buy a package or not.
In time if they aren't selling then they may decide to break up the packages and start selling items separately again.
It's annoying but far from illegal, at least it's just a CD! At a previous event I wanted to go to it was sold out everywhere except one place and that was only selling it as a package involving 2 nights stay in a suite in a 5* hotel, Michelin stared meal, helicopter transfer to/from the hotel/event. Was several thousand above the price of the ticket for a couple.1 -
I don't know, that's why I'm asking if they can or can't do it.
I don't need two CDs but paying an extra £15 to have the CDs just so I can also get the tickets seems quite unfair. It makes no sense that they won't offer a ticket-only option when they previously had. The ones that are available now with the album are newly-issued extra production tickets.0 -
You could maybe give the second CD as a gift to someone you think might like the music...? Nice way to introduce someone to a band you like.
As others, I can see why it's annoying, but can't see any reason why it would be commercially unreasonable or unlawful - and it seems to make perfect sense if they have a lot of CDs to sellI'm not an early bird or a night owl; I’m some form of permanently exhausted pigeon.1 -

It's increasingly common.. it helps artists get their records up the charts,.0
