I've just done this, called them up and gave them my details in case the sale fell through. Fingers crossed which is so bad to say but desperately want it!!1

No I keep thinking the same! Likewise feel bad, but nothing we've seen since has come close, and if they told us tomorrow it was back on the market, we'd offer there and then.Wes121708 said:I've just done this, called them up and gave them my details in case the sale fell through. This just popped up today.

Agents Note
This property has an offer accepted subject to contract but is still currently available to view.
I'll take a wild guess that the offer is less than asking, and the seller is still holding out for asking. I wonder what the buyer thinks of it.0 -
We viewed one that had an offer accepted but the sale had been going slow because of divorce issues and the seller opened up to other viewings to keep their chain moving.1

Yep, I've seen one recently saying they've had an offer for asking price, so anyone who is interested should submit their offers by x date. Actively encouraging people to gazump!RHemmings said:This just popped up today.

This will be a bank repossession. The bank are required to get the best possible price to limit their loss and outstanding amount owed by the previous owner.

Contract race. First over the line. The debt continuing to accrue interest on a daily basis.Slinky said:Myci85 said:

You used to see little adverts in the local paper for these ones where they'd be like a house advert with a photo and everything and say "an offer of £x has been recieved for this... final offers by XXX"Slinky said:Myci85 said:

Registering interest isn't going to hurt but it isn't a great use of time to fall in love with houses that you can't currently buy or even view. You need to also remember that if a sale does fall through it could be because something insurmountable was wrong with the property that was a deal breaker.
