Consumer advice - car garage refused to cancel sale

I have withdrawn from a car pcp deal. I withdrew within 1 day of the agreement being live and advised the dealership and the finance company, also I have never collected the car. The dealership have the finance company's money and I have not made any payments. How can I ensure the dealership return the money to the finance company and stop an entry being made on my credit file ?0

The thing everyone seems to be ignoring is that the car apparently has 30k miles on it now.Clearly they don't think that they sold the car to the OP because they have either sold it or been using it themselves. If they ever tried to collect any payment they would be in a very difficult position when the OP demanded the as new vehicle they supposedly own. They must have paid the finance company back and resold it.0

Tagging on the end of a 5 month old one can make the information and responses to that thread hard to reconcile with your issue2 -

If "yes", please say so. Otherwise contributors to the thread have no idea who you are or what you are talking about.
If "no", start a new thread. There's no point hijacking or resurrecting this one that was never resolved. In your new thread put a link to this one if you think it would help other posters.0
