Pasta Evangelists Discount Pricing Error

Update: my email to then got a response that was entirely generic still apologising for cancelling my order and their system error not even addressing their or my previous email about the payment they are now trying to take from me and the fact that they fulfilled my order.
I've written back out of curiosity to see what they say. Couple other similar experiences popping up on trustpilot with one star ratings too.0 -
I paid the delivery fee as the discount code they sent me was showing the discount as the recipes for free and only needing me to pay postage.visidigi said:Did you order and pay for a recipe kit with the order?0 -
Good point - at this point I couldn't care less about not being able to order more expensive pasta in the future. Just wanted to know how far they can attempt to strong arm me off the back of their error. All the replies have been very helpful in this regard!RefluentBeans said:It’s worth noting that even though you’re in the right - they may just terminate your account/black list your account. They have the right to do this, and can refuse to do business with you. If you did want to order more with them, it’s something to note.0 -
At the end of the day they made an offer, you accepted the offer and paid what they were asking and they then dispatched the goods they offered to you at the price they asked for and for which you paid. I doubt they would have a legal leg to stand on.
As a precaution I would check with your bank to see of they have set up a debit card subscription and if they have then simply block it. I am withe Lloyds bank and you can do that with the app.0 -
Think this was one of the times when you should just leave the sleeping dog alone.triedandtesting said:Update: my email to then got a response that was entirely generic still apologising for cancelling my order and their system error not even addressing their or my previous email about the payment they are now trying to take from me and the fact that they fulfilled my order.

I probably should have haha! But they swiftly replied saying they saw where I was coming from and that I don't need to pay, and they hoped that I enjoyed the pasta 🤣DullGreyGuy said:
