How many RBS or NatWest current accounts can I hold?

Does anyone know how many RBS current accounts you can have open at once? (Or NatWest ones as I guess the answer would be the same.)

There's no stated limit as to how many current accounts you can hold with NatWest/RBS at any one time, though there are restrictions stated on the numbers of some specific accounts you can have e.g. Reward accounts are limited to one sole and one joint account etc.

A word of warning though, don't try to open too many accounts in one go. I made this mistake with TSB a while back after trying to open 5 accounts in a single day, they closed these accounts a couple of days later and have not let me open any new current accounts with them since (rather irritating as they launched a switching offer a couple of months later which I was eligible for but couldn't benefit from). They've let me keep the current account and an EA account I had with them before this though.
