Hi, @Bat999 - I have read it again, thanks.

I've tried changing to Increased Protection with Cloudflare (Default) but am unable to check what the 1.1.1.1. test shows as it comes up with the Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR , whether I use the one.one. link or the 1.1. link.

Will leave it for now as mozilla help suggests a variety of reasons for the error code, most of which go over my non-techie head.

Thanks for your quick reply though, appreciated. Happy Easter :)

I have the DNS over HTTPS setting set to Max Protection and 99.99% of websites load fine for me, including MSE.
While you're tweaking Firefox's settings, be sure to look at and adjust the Enhanced Tracking Protection too, as well as HTTPS-Only Mode.  I have them set to Strict and Enable HTTPS-Only Mode in all windows respectively, again with little to no known issues with the majority of websites.
Finally consider using the uBlock Origin add-on and enable as many lists as you can get away with and/or require.
