in Credit cards
I have noticed that some transactions on my M&S credit card statement in the Description Column begin with ))) then store ID whilst other lines have just the Store ID. I see this mixture of with and without ))) for purchases from my same local store.
I am curious is there a meaning to the )))?

Ours are mostly ))) so I think those must be the easy swipe type transactions. Anything online and a few random store shops are without so think those must be where we've either needed to use the card in the machine or otherwise they've taken the 3 digits off the back.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards.
