Amazon subscribe and save payment declined

Every month i’m having issues with my subscribe and save items payment declined.  Sometime they get through but regularly i have to verify payment method.  This has been happening to me with different bank cards, Chase, Monzo and Natwest.  One of my banks investigated and basically said the issue is because amazon are not sending the 3 digits on the back of the card and therefore the transaction cannot be authenticated.  They have told me that they have reported them to mastercard to try and help them resolve.  It’s not the banks fault as happens with all 3.  I contacted amazon last night as having problems again and was told to delete and readd my card and i noticed that as soon as i entered the long card number the field to put your three digits in disappeared.  So i entered the three digits first and worked my way back to the screen entering the card number last and the field disappeared again.  I’ve had multiple declines since yesterday and amazon help desk do not seem to understand that the payment get taken automatically.  For me when they’re asking you to go in and verify your card details they should take you through the full transaction whilst they’ve got you there rather than leaving it however long before they push the payment through.  It’s beyond frustrating especially when it’s delaying an order that you need.  I’ve asked to raise a complaint as amazon rep couldn’t help but really don’t think anything will be done.  If a place a normal order with the same card no issue and yesterday two of my subscribe items were being declined and then eventually went through one is now being continuously declined and i have two more that they’re yet to start taking payment

I have that too - TBH doesn't take long to reverify the purchase and it all then goes through

Ever remember having to enter CVV on making any Amazon purchase? That would be a no. Someone @ bank is grasping at straws.. Given CVV can not be stored by a retailer....
