Transfer from Charter Savings to Santander

Hi, I have closed a charter savings account and the money is being sent to Sanrtander. I know Santander can be a pain with larger payments I just wanted to know if people here had the same and how long did it take for the payment to appear in Santander?

I haven't heard of problems with ingoing payments to Santander.  The problems have usually been with outgoing payments and long, long times on the phone to their security bods to get them cleared.  That seems much improved when the receiving bank offers COP.

You can set up alerts with them to tell you when they have received payments.
