Thanks for replies and guidance guys. Made and appointment with a solicitor today to have a will drawn up. Cost is 240 all in . Is that sound about right?0

I assume that what you mean is that your mum has made an appointment. It is highly likely (almost certain) that a solicitor won't want you in the room when your mum is discussing her will, given what you expect the will to say, as they will be fearful that you are trying to force your mum to leave you the house.bimma said:Thanks for replies and guidance guys. I strongly recommend that you let your mum sort this out herself. There is no harm is reminding her what was agreed and encouraging her to get a will sorted but the more closely you are involved in the production of the will the greater the risk that it looks like you are doing something underhand and that can come back to cause problems if your father or siblings disagree with its contents when your mum passes away.2
