What is different now from when you could legitimately log into the laptop? Did you have to enter a password before it got to the Windows login screen or is this something new?sophiejames said:I know the windows password. I have given the laptop to the “local geek”, unfortunately they were struggling to get the job done & are now currently not working as they had to have emergency surgery. I messaged them the other day asking for the model no etc, unfortunately they haven’t read it yet. They told me previously they had purchased a programmer to re-program the Bios Chip. 🤷♀️
